I think that’s a table saw. A band saw is upright, as tall as a man, and the blade is a vertical strip. A table saw is smaller, and you see the top 1/4th of a rotating disk-shaped blade.
I once saw my mom cut her hand open on a band saw, but a table saw is still scarier.
